About Campbell at Camp Lejeune
Campbell University began providing quality education to service members and their families in 1976. The Camp Lejeune location of Campbell University offers evening associate and bachelor programs for active duty, civilian and veteran populations to help you meet your educational and career goals.
The Camp Lejeune/MCAS New River Campus is located near Jacksonville, North Carolina approximately 110 miles from Campbell University’s main campus at Buies Creek, North Carolina. Established in 1987, the original location of this campus site was MCAS New River, but later expanded to the current site aboard MCB Camp Lejeune, N.C. The MCAS New River site is approximately 17 road miles from the Camp Lejeune Office. In October of 2007, the office relocated to Building 825, the Lifelong Learning Location, and now has office spaces collocated with existing classroom facilities aboard Camp Lejeune.
Campbell University is one of seven universities with an instructional presence on base and only one of three universities offering undergraduate (Bachelors) degree program at MCB Camp Lejeune/MCAS New River. Campbell University is led by Director, Mr. Robert Hall.
Campbell University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award Associate, Baccalaureate, Masters, Education Specialist and Doctorate degrees.
